Santa's Land - Putney, Vermont
Driving past the famous Santa’s Land amusement park today, I remembered as a child the happy times my family and I had there. We would visit the park around the holidays in the early 70’s and my favorite memory was seeing the Spider Monkeys. In 2014, the grounds were closed for good, allegedly for poor management and cruelty to animals. I’m sad to see it closed and reading about the reason for the closure, if any of it is true.
